Listening Copy Guide
How to send demos to record labels privately
The best demo delivery is easy to open, clearly labeled and respectful of the recipient's time. You do not need a public artist profile or a permanent upload to send a professional private link.

Prepare the smallest useful selection
Send the strongest track or a short, ordered playlist. Use final titles, remove unnecessary version numbers and include a brief message explaining what you are sending and why it may fit the label.
Use a link that works without an account
The recipient should be able to press play immediately in a browser. Avoid download services that expire before the email is opened and platforms that require an account before listening.
Keep control of the material
Choose whether downloads are allowed, set an appropriate expiry and revoke the link when it is no longer needed. For sensitive or highly anticipated work, create a separately watermarked delivery for each recipient.
Follow up with useful information
If the service provides activity information, use it carefully. A confirmed open or play can help time a polite follow-up, but it is not a reason to chase someone repeatedly.
Listening Copy creates clean private listening links for individual tracks and playlists. The recipient listens in a browser without an account, while you retain control over expiry, downloads and revocation.
Private music sharing that stays simple for the recipient.
