Listening Copy

Listening Copy Use case

Private soundtrack and sync pitch listening links

Listening Copy helps composers and rights holders send private cue playlists to music supervisors, directors and sync teams. Arrange the cues, add a delivery note and share a browser listening link with optional watermarking, expiry and downloads. Recipients can listen without an account.

Put cues in the intended order

Use clear titles distinguishing the full mix, instrumental and alternate versions. Arrange the playlist for the brief. State the rights contact and relevant clearance information in your accompanying message; the listening link is not a licence.

Choose access for each stage

An early pitch may need only browser listening; an edit test may need downloadable files. Create a separate delivery for that particular request.

  1. Choose cues and versions relevant to the brief.
  2. Upload and arrange the playlist.
  3. Add project context and the rights contact.
  4. Choose watermarking, downloads and the listening window.
  5. Send an individual link and revoke it if the pitch closes.

Keep licensing separate

Use your established process for stems, project sessions, paperwork and clearance. Listening Copy focuses on listening and delivery, not contracts, publishing administration or picture-to-sound review.

Plans and protection

Start free with three welcome watermark credits. WAV storage is available on Session, Studio and Teams; live folders start on Solo. One watermark credit covers up to 30 minutes of one track for one recipient; longer tracks use additional credits. Check the current pricing page for storage, included credits and billing options.

A watermark can help identify the delivered copy from which a leak originated. It does not prove who leaked it, prevent recording, or guarantee detection after every edit. Revoking a link stops future access through that link; it cannot recall files already downloaded.

Common questions

Can a supervisor listen on mobile?

Yes. The link works in a compatible mobile browser. Artwork can also appear in compatible mobile media controls.

Can I send alternate mixes together?

Yes. Include them as separate tracks, name them clearly and choose the playlist order.

Does sending a link grant sync rights?

No. Arrange licensing separately with the rights holders.
