Listening Copy Use case
Private mix and master listening links for studios
Listening Copy gives studios a private browser player for sharing mixes and masters with clients. Send a track, playlist or live folder, choose streaming or WAV downloads, and control each link's expiry and access. A live folder can keep an ongoing delivery current as revisions change.

Make the current revision easy to find
Name revisions clearly before uploading. A live folder is useful when a client should return to the same link for the latest working set. A fixed playlist is better for a specific approval milestone that should not change beneath the listener.
Tracks are alphabetical by default, with a custom order available when the sequence matters. Check the order after updating a live project.
Separate listening from final delivery
Use browser streaming for routine checks and enable WAV downloads when the client needs files. Lossless playback is available when the source and plan support it. Confirm specifications with the destination rather than assuming one sample rate or loudness target fits every release.
- Upload mixes or masters and wait for them to become playable.
- Choose a fixed playlist or a live folder for revisions.
- Set the order, delivery note and optional artwork.
- Choose listening and download settings for the client.
- Review activity and retire old links when the project closes.
Check files before delivery
The free browser tools inspect metadata, measure loudness, estimate true peak, check clipping and add up album runtime locally on your device. They supplement listening and your normal mastering checks; they do not certify a release for every distributor.
What is included
Start free with three welcome watermark credits. WAV storage is available on Session, Studio and Teams; live folders start on Solo. One watermark credit covers up to 30 minutes of one track for one recipient; longer tracks use additional credits. Check the current pricing page for storage, included credits and billing options.
Listening Copy does not provide timestamped review comments, version comparison or an approval sign-off system. Collect feedback through your normal client communication channel.
A watermark can help identify the delivered copy from which a leak originated. It does not prove who leaked it, prevent recording, or guarantee detection after every edit. Revoking a link stops future access through that link; it cannot recall files already downloaded.
Common questions
Can I keep the same link for revisions?
Yes, use a live folder on a plan that includes it. Changes to its contents are reflected in the delivery. Use a fixed playlist for a stable version.
Are downloads lossless?
The download workflow provides WAV files. Choose a plan with WAV storage when you need lossless sources and delivery.
Does Listening Copy collect client approval?
No. It provides listening links and activity information. Ask for approval through your usual communication channel.
